Banax Kaigen-10000 Electric Reel New

The Banax Kaigen-10000 is an electric fishing reel designed for deep-sea and heavy-bottom fishing applications, featuring an aluminium forged spool and a digital depth control system. This unit delivers maximum drag force of 193.6 lb (88 kg) through a dual carbon drag washer arrangement totalling four washers. Power is managed via an ON/OFF switch and speed lever control, with a sensitive adjustable digital unit for precise depth setting. The reel includes memory back-up during momentary power interruption and motor overload protection. Weight is 1620 grams, and the unit ships new in box with power cord and English-language user manual.

Construction centres on an aluminium forged spool, which offers greater structural integrity than die-cast alternatives under high-load saltwater conditions. The drag system employs two carbon drag washers for a total of four washers in the stack, providing heat dissipation and consistent pressure distribution during prolonged battles with large species. The washable design permits freshwater rinsing after saltwater use, a critical maintenance factor for electric reel longevity. A jigging function is integrated, allowing automated vertical movement patterns for targeting species in the water column. The power cord terminates in alligator clips for direct battery connection, typical for electric reels in this class.

Target buyers include commercial charter operators, deep-sea sport fishing enthusiasts, and tackle retailers serving markets where electric reels are essential for managing heavy depths and large target species. The Kaigen-10000 suits applications in deep-drop bottom fishing, heavy jigging for grouper and tilefish, and big-game scenarios where manual retrieval is impractical. Buyers should confirm voltage compatibility and battery requirements with Murtackle Shop, as these specifications are not detailed in the source data. Warranty terms, service availability, and spare parts access should also be verified before purchase, particularly given the specialised nature of electric reel repair.
