Products Description

Fluid handled by industries contains various particles due to atmospheric contamination, in process contamination, during handling or transportation it may be contaminated. These particles are in varied sizes and shapes and may damage or harm the equipment such as heat exchangers, burners, chilling plants, carburetors, coolers, pumps, seals, valves etc. Also, some products may need final removal of particles to enhance value; to improve further process or to achieve required clarity. Basket Strainers feature top removal of the screen. The screen is in the form of a basket, with a lifting handle, so that all particulate captured and retained by the screen can be easily removed for disposal. The particulate matter is captured in the strainer basket. The line is then temporarily shut down and the basket removed for cleaning or replacement. Advanced dynamic flow path and large filtration area elements ensure low pressure drops and reduced maintenance periods. Strainers are available with wide range of sizes as well as filter varieties. Different types of perforate filter elements can be provided from 4 mesh to 500 mesh.
