This is accomplished through the use of multiple brew filters specifically designed for certain types of brewing. The coffee filter can be filled with up to 60 grams of ground coffee and features a smooth interior wall for even distribution of the coffee. The tea filter has four ribs on the inside of to prevent tea leaves from getting stuck to the wall and improve steeping. Each filter is fitted with a safety grip for easy loading and removal. By using two separate filters for tea and coffee, the Triple Brew prevents cross contamination between the two brewing methods.
