Flame retardant jacquard curtains
The Flame Retardant jacquard curtain is a decorative window covering woven from polyester and acrylic fibers with a built-in flame-retardant finish. It has a standard width of 150 cm and is available in custom lengths up to 360 cm. The jacquard pattern is woven, not printed, ensuring durability and color consistency over time. The fabric has a surface weight of 320 g/m² and is designed for indoor use in commercial and residential settings where fire safety codes apply.
The textile blend consists of 70% polyester and 30% acrylic, chosen for its balance of drape, color retention, and flame resistance. The FR treatment is applied during fiber production, making it permanent and unaffected by washing. It meets the ASTM E84 Class A and BS 5867 Part 2 Type B standards for flame spread and smoke development. The curtains are suitable for dry cleaning and gentle machine wash at 30°C, with minimal shrinkage under 2%.
These curtains are primarily purchased by hotel chains, restaurants, and corporate office spaces in Asia and North America for lobbies, conference rooms, and waiting areas. Buyers typically order in runs of 10 to 100 panels, with packaging in individual polybags and cartons of 10 panels each. Trade terms are usually FOB Taipei or CIF destination, with payment via T/T. Lead time is 25 to 40 days after order confirmation, depending on pattern complexity.

Sourcing Flame retardant jacquard curtains from S.Y.Liangs Enterprise Co., Ltd. - Taiwan Import Guide
Before ordering, verify the curtain's flame retardant certification matches the claimed standards (ASTM E84 Class A or BS 5867). Request a valid test report from an accredited lab, including the test date, sample ID, and lab stamp. Do not accept supplier claims without documented proof, especially for public building compliance.
Confirm Incoterms are specified - FOB Taipei is common, but ensure the supplier handles export documentation. Lead time is typically 25 to 40 days, but complex patterns may extend this. Payment terms are usually 50% deposit with balance before shipment. Request a sample swatch with the exact pattern and color to match interior design specs before bulk production.
Inspect each carton for correct labeling, including pattern name, color code, and quantity. Open 3% of cartons and check for weave consistency, color matching across panels, and seam integrity. Request a pre-shipment inspection report from SGS or similar, focusing on flame resistance retention, dimensional accuracy, and absence of defects. Retain a sample from each batch for warranty claims.
