2-person surrey bicycle
This 2-person surrey bicycle is a side-by-side pedal vehicle designed for leisure and rental operations, built around a steel frame with a double-layer painting process that includes anti-rust and anti-sunburn coatings. It features a no-shift gear system to simplify operation for casual riders and is intended for use on flat terrain such as parks, coastal paths, and resort grounds. The seating is configured to accommodate two adult riders facing forward, with a design that promotes shared recreational use.
The frame construction uses steel, a standard material for recreational surrey bicycles due to its strength and weight characteristics. The double-layer coating system is a typical industry practice for outdoor leisure vehicles, providing a base layer for corrosion protection and a top layer for UV resistance. Typical specifications for this class of bicycle include a wheelbase suited for stability at low speeds and a steering mechanism designed for easy maneuverability by non-expert riders.
The primary buyers for this type of vehicle are recreational rental businesses, municipal parks departments, resort operators, and event organizers. It is marketed for family and couples' leisure, fitting into the tourism and community entertainment sectors. Sourcing terms mentioned include flexible MOQ options and availability under FOB or CIF shipping terms, with payment via L/C or T/T. Exact pricing, specific MOQ numbers, and current lead times are not stated in the listing and should be confirmed directly with the supplier.

Sourcing 2-Person Surrey Bicycle from Dongyang Xiangwei Hardware Products - China Import Guide
Before placing an order for the 2-person surrey bicycle from Dongyang Xiangwei Hardware Products, verify the exact specifications that are critical for your use case. Confirm the precise frame dimensions, total weight, and certified weight capacity. Request detailed photographs or a technical drawing of the frame welds and steering assembly, as these are key structural points. Ask the supplier to clarify the exact composition of the anti-rust and anti-sunburn coatings to ensure they are suitable for your local climate, whether coastal, humid, or with high UV exposure.
For logistics, clarify the shipping terms in detail. If using FOB, confirm the exact port of loading in China (e.g., Ningbo or Shanghai). For CIF, request a breakdown of the insurance coverage. Discuss packaging thoroughly: how many bicycles fit in a standard 20ft or 40ft container, what protective materials are used to prevent scratches during transit, and whether assembly hardware is packed separately. Negotiate a clear payment schedule, typically a deposit with T/T and the balance before shipment or against a Bill of Lading copy.
Implement quality checks before shipment. Consider engaging a third-party inspection service in China to verify the quantity, check for visual defects, confirm the coating quality, and test the functionality of the steering and pedal mechanisms on a sample unit. Request a copy of the supplier's internal quality control checklist for this product. Establish clear acceptance criteria and a process for handling any non-conformities found during inspection to avoid disputes after the goods have shipped.
