Super Capacitance
Super capacitance, also known as electrochemical capacitance, double layer capacitor, gold capacitor, Fara capacitor, is an electrochemical element developed in the 1970s and 1980s to store energy through polarized electrolytes. It is different from the traditional chemical power supply. It is a kind of power supply with special performance between traditional capacitors and batteries. It mainly relies on double layers and redox pseudocapacitive charge to store energy. Characteristic: (1) Charging speed is fast, charging for 10 seconds to 10 minutes can reach more than 95% of its rated capacity (2) Long cycle life (about 15-16 years), deep charge-discharge cycles can be used as many as 1-500,000 times without "memory effect" (3) High current discharge capacity is very strong, energy conversion efficiency is high, process loss is small, energy circulation efficiency of large current is greater than or equal to 90%. (4) High power density, up to 300W/KG~5000W/KG, equivalent to 5~10 times of batteries (5) The raw material composition, production, use, storage and disassembly of the product are not polluted and are ideal green power sources for environmental protection. (6) The charging and discharging circuit is simple, does not need the charging circuit like rechargeable battery, has high safety factor, and is maintenance-free for long-term use.
