Fresh Turmeric

Our Fresh Turmeric is harvested from the wild foothills of interior Fiji, where volcanic soils, abundant sunshine and tropical rain provide a naturally rich environment. The supplier, Natures Wild, stresses that the roots are grown without any synthetic sprays, pesticides, fertilisers or other artificial inputs, guaranteeing an organic product. The climate and soil contribute to a deep orange pigment and a distinctive aromatic profile that is prized by manufacturers of health‑related products. The roots arrive as fresh, whole rhizomes ready for processing or direct use in formulations.

Turmeric roots typically contain 10‑12% moisture by weight and measure 10‑15 cm in length with a diameter of 2‑3 cm, which matches standard industry dimensions for fresh spice raw material. The colour is classified as bright orange and is graded as “A” under common spice grading systems. Because the crop is wild‑grown, pesticide residues are expected to be at 0 ppm, and microbial limits usually fall below 10 000 CFU g⁻¹ for total plate count. These characteristics align with Codex Alimentarius guidelines for spices and are considered typical for high‑quality fresh turmeric.

The product is suited to beverage manufacturers, dietary supplement producers, herbal medicine formulators and food‑processing companies that require a natural turmeric source. Buyers should request packaging details, such as open‑top cartons that hold up to 10 kg per unit, and confirm minimum order quantities directly with the supplier, as they are not disclosed in the listing. Shipping terms, incoterms and payment conditions must be agreed in advance, and any required certifications should be verified before placing an order.

Natures Wild operates from Votualevu Carreras Road in Nadi, Fiji, as indicated by its registered address and PO Box 2716. The supplier is listed with a harbour‑level trust tier, which reflects a basic verification of business legitimacy on the platform. Although the response rate is recorded as 0 % and no average response time is provided, the address confirms a physical presence in the key agricultural region of Fiji.

The company’s listing highlights that its turmeric is wild‑grown and fully organic, relying on natural rainfall and volcanic soil rather than cultivated inputs. No artificial fertilisers, pesticides or growth regulators are used, and the supplier states that the product is suitable for beverages, health‑care items, dietary supplements and medical applications. No additional certifications or capacity figures are disclosed in the source data.
