Coconut Shell Charcoal
Sourcing Coconut Shell Charcoal from Broomstick West Celebes - Indonesia Import Guide
Before placing an order, confirm the food-grade certification and request a certificate of analysis to verify the fixed carbon, moisture, and ash content. These specifications are critical for ensuring the product meets your application requirements, whether for culinary or industrial use. Additionally, check for any third-party certifications that may be relevant to your industry, such as ISO or HACCP.
Discuss logistics with Broomstick West Celebes to determine lead times, port of shipment, and preferred Incoterms. The supplier is based in Palu, so coordinate with them to confirm whether FOB or CIF terms are available. Payment methods, such as bank transfer or letter of credit, should also be clarified to align with your procurement policies. Typical lead times for bulk orders may vary, so plan accordingly.
Upon receipt, conduct quality checks to verify the charcoal’s specifications, including fixed carbon content, moisture levels, and foreign matter. Arrange for a pre-shipment inspection if possible, or opt for third-party testing at the destination port. Ensure all documentation, such as the bill of lading, packing list, and certificate of origin, is in order to facilitate smooth customs clearance. For food-grade applications, additional tests for contaminants or additives may be necessary.
