Elegant Of Jars 3
Sourcing Elegant Of Jars 3 from Luxury Home Furniture - Indonesia Import Guide
Before ordering, verify that the glaze composition is certified as food-safe if intended for storage of consumables. Request test reports for lead and cadmium leaching under ASTM C738. Confirm the clay body is fully vitrified by asking for water absorption test results. Inspect physical samples under natural light to assess glaze uniformity and surface texture.
Lead time is typically 30 to 45 days, including production and drying cycles. Confirm whether the supplier uses FOB Jakarta or CIF terms and whether insurance is included. Packaging is standard for ceramics, but request a custom packing list if shipping to earthquake-prone regions. Payment terms are commonly 50% deposit with balance against BL copy; avoid 100% advance payment.
Conduct a pre-shipment inspection focusing on glaze defects, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity. Use a caliper to measure wall thickness and a light box to check for pinholes. Retain a sample from each batch for comparison. Ensure cartons are labeled with product code, quantity, and handling instructions. Request a certificate of origin and compliance with destination country’s import regulations for ceramics.
