Candy jar
Sourcing Candy jar from Kap Tasarim - Turkey Import Guide
Potential buyers should obtain a detailed material data sheet confirming that the glass complies with food‑contact standards such as FDA 21 CFR 176 and that the brass lid is free from lead‑based plating. Request photographs of the finished jar and packaging, as well as any test certificates for impact resistance or thermal shock, to ensure the product meets your quality expectations.
Kap Tasarim indicates availability of both FOB and CIF terms; confirm the preferred departure port, typically Istanbul’s Ambarlı Port, and the destination port to calculate freight costs. Discuss payment structures, which may include T/T, LC or escrow, and verify any required deposit before production begins. Ask for an estimated production lead time and shipping schedule to align with your sales calendar.
Because glass items are prone to breakage, request that the supplier uses double‑wall cardboard boxes with protective inserts and consider a pre‑shipment inspection to check for cracks or surface defects. Obtain a certificate of conformity and, if required by your market, a CE or other regional certification. Proper documentation will facilitate smooth customs clearance and reduce the risk of receiving damaged goods.
