The Megger MTO106 is an entry-level transformer ohmmeter designed for accurate field measurement of winding resistance in smaller transmission and distribution transformers. It features dual channels with a maximum 6 A current output and ±0.25 % measurement accuracy. The MTO106 operates on a 48 V test voltage for fast saturation of transformers and has a multimeter-type operation that is intuitive and fast. The instrument also features automatic, passive discharge circuitry for safety and true portability with a rugged plastic case that is IP67 rated. It comes with Kelvin clamps for easy connection and an automatic discharge function to de-energize the transformer winding at the end of every test.
