Filter Washers Strainers

Filter Washers Strainers are composite components that combine a 3/4" BSP mesh gauze element with a rubber hose washer, intended for line‑side filtration in fluid circuits. The mesh is a fine stainless‑steel gauze that captures particulate matter, while the EPDM rubber washer provides a sealing interface against hose connections. Ymx Filter lists the item as a standard part for valve hose connections and mentions its suitability for a broad range of industrial applications.

Stainless‑steel mesh offers typical tensile strength of 400 MPa and corrosion resistance, which aligns with common industry practice for hydraulic and water‑treatment filtration. EPDM rubber washers are typically rated for pressures up to 1.0 MPa and temperatures from - 30 °C to 150 °C, matching the operating envelope of many plant pipelines. The standard 3/4" BSP thread ensures compatibility with British‑standard hose fittings used worldwide. These typical characteristics make the component a reliable choice for pre‑filter stages.

Primary users include OEMs in the oil‑and‑gas, chemical processing, and water‑treatment sectors that require a durable, low‑cost filtration point before larger strainers. Ymx Filter operates its own manufacturing facility and can produce custom mesh sizes or washer dimensions upon request, though the listing does not specify minimum order quantities or lead times. Prospective buyers should contact the supplier to confirm pricing, incoterms and any required certifications before finalising a purchase.
