12 Strand Uhmwpe Rope For Sale

This 12 strand UHMWPE rope, marketed under the Florescence brand and sourced from supplier Ellen Jia in Qingdao, Shandong, is constructed from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The material, also known as HMPE or HPPE, features molecular masses typically between 2 and 6 million units, creating long polymer chains that transfer load effectively for exceptional toughness and impact strength. The rope is available in diameters from 6mm to 110mm, with standard colours including white and black, and custom colours available upon request.

UHMWPE is characterised by its extremely low moisture absorption, very low coefficient of friction comparable to PTFE, and self-lubricating properties. It exhibits superior abrasion resistance, noted as up to 15 times greater than carbon steel in some forms, and is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals, excluding oxidising acids. The material is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. For this rope, the supplier lists certifications from major classification societies including CCS, ABS, NK, GL, BV, KR, LR, and DNV, which are critical for marine and offshore applications.

The rope is designed for demanding applications such as dragging large shipping port facilities, heavy load lifting, winch operations, rescue missions, defence vessel rigging, and marine scientific research. Key advantages cited include an ultra-high strength-to-weight ratio (up to 1.5 times stronger than steel wire by weight), flexibility, corrosion resistance, and anti-ageing properties. Trade terms include payment via T/T, Western Union, or L/C, with a stated delivery time of 7 to 20 days. Packaging is typically in coils with woven bags, but reel and hank options are also available.

The supplier is Ellen Jia, an individual trader or representative based at No.54 Moscow, Free Trade Port Area, Qingdao, Shandong Province, China (postal code 266555). The profile is verified at the 'harbor' trust tier. Similar to the sibling listing, the response rate and average response hours are both listed as 0, indicating potential inactivity on the platform's messaging system.

The listing is branded under 'Florescence' and provides extensive technical detail about UHMWPE material properties and rope applications. It specifies multiple international classification society certifications (CCS, ABS, NK, GL, BV, KR, LR, DNV), which are important for buyers in the marine and offshore sectors. The supplier's profile does not disclose company history, production scale, or direct client testimonials. All commercial terms, such as minimum order quantities and exact pricing, require direct confirmation.
