Description Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is a high performance, 100% poly-carboxylate based polymer, also named PCE. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is specifically developed as an effective dispersant, fluidifier and high range water reducing agent for concrete and other mineral materials, which is air entraining. It complies with ASTM C 494, Type F specifications. Application As a new generation of environmental friendly concrete admixtures, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be applied in hydraulic, electricity, port, bridge, railway, tunnels and highway projects. In the production of self-compact precast concrete and conventional concrete, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) leads to low water/cement ratios, but maintains a normal level of workability. When Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied in the form of powder, normal dosage ranges from 0.15% to 0.6% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete. When applied in the form of liquid by being mixed with and dissolved into water, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be changed into liquid of which density varies from 10% to 40%. In order to optimize the dosage, experiments are required before the adoption of it or changing of the cement type. 2. Recommended dosage: 0.2% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete. 3. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be added into cement paste together with water or after mixing, while the latter approach is preferred. 4.
