Aimy Hand Tufted Woollen Rug
Sourcing Aimy Hand Tufted Woollen Rug from Aman Carpet - India Import Guide
Before ordering the Aimy Hand Tufted Woollen Rug from Aman Carpet, verify the exact dimensions, pile height, and backing material to ensure they align with your buyers’ requirements. Request samples to assess the wool quality, luster finish, and color consistency under different lighting conditions. Confirm whether the supplier can provide third-party test reports for colorfastness and abrasion resistance, as these are critical for export compliance.
For logistics, clarify the lead time for bulk orders, as hand-tufted rugs often require 4-8 weeks for production and finishing. Discuss Incoterms such as FOB or CIF, and confirm whether the supplier arranges shipping or if you must coordinate freight. Packaging details, such as rolled vs. folded delivery and protective wrapping, should also be agreed upon to prevent damage during transit.
Quality checks should include inspecting the rug for uniform pile height, secure backing attachment, and absence of loose threads or dye bleeds. Request a pre-shipment inspection report from a recognized agency like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Ensure the supplier provides all necessary documentation, including certificates of origin, material composition, and compliance with international safety standards (e.g., REACH for the EU or CPSIA for the US).
