Sourcing 2020 Scott Genius 900 Full Suspension Mtb from Fastracycles - Indonesia Import Guide
Before ordering the 2020 Scott Genius 900 from Fastracycles, confirm the exact model year and build specification match the listing, as component availability can lead to minor substitutions. Request clear photographs of the bike's current condition, focusing on the frame, suspension pivots, and drivetrain wear. Verify the supplier's money-back guarantee terms in writing, including the process for returns and any restocking fees.
Discuss logistics thoroughly: confirm the shipping method (air or sea), the declared value for insurance, and the expected transit time to your port or door. Ask about packaging standards to ensure the bike arrives without damage. Clarify all costs upfront, including the product price, shipping fee, insurance, and any local handling or customs brokerage charges you may incur.
For quality assurance, ask Fastracycles to provide a pre-shipment inspection report or video showing the bike's functionality, including suspension action, brake performance, and electronic shifting operation. If possible, request the frame's serial number to verify it is not reported stolen. Upon receipt, perform a detailed inspection or have a professional mechanic assemble and check the bike before riding, paying close attention to torque specifications on all bolts and the setup of the suspension and brakes.
