About the Fair: The INDIA FASHION & LIFESTYLE SHOW is an exclusive Business Matching Event that provides exporters with an opportunity to showcase their products and supply capabilities, with a special emphasis on products designed to suit Japanese fashion trends and requirements. The fair aims to build partnerships between the Indian exporter community and Japanese buyers. The visiting buyers will include manufacturers, wholesalers, trading companies, importers, select and specialist shops, department stores, volume and online retailers, and more.

 

Exhibits Profile:

The fair features a wide range of exhibits including:

Garments: Woolen garments, woven and knitted garments for men, women, boys, girls, and kids. It includes inner clothes, casual wear, high-fashion garments, occasional wear, sports wear, and more.

Home Furnishings & Handicrafts: Made ups, cushion covers, floor mats, carpets, rugs, tableware, bed linen, bed covers, spreads, interior goods, giftware, ethnic crafts, curtains, Noren, and decorative articles.

Handicrafts: Decorative articles, gift articles, and ethnic crafts.

Fashion Accessories: Stoles, scarves, bags, leggings, tights, gloves, belts, hats, caps, ties, fashion jewelry.

Leather Products: Handbags and purses.

PARTICIPATION CHARGES:

The event is recommended under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. The participation charges are as follows:

 

9 Sqm booth (Shell Scheme): INR 150,000 /- for Members & INR 155,000 /- for Non-members.

Two Side Open Stand: Rs. 5,000 /- extra subject to availability.

Participation fees include:

Standard built-up stall of 9 Square Meters with needle punch carpet.

Fascia board with company name.

Running garment hanging rail of 9 meters length / Shelves (16 pcs.).

Hangers (150 pcs.).

1 Round Table, 2 Chairs, 1 Dustbin, 1 Power Socket.

Please Note:

The participation fee does not include sending display material or any additional fixtures and furniture in the booth. These are to be borne by the companies.

The subsidized participation fee is based on the anticipated grant from the Ministry. In case of any variation, the participation fee may be revised.

According to the Department of Commerce (DOC), a company can avail MAI assistance up to a maximum of three times (including past cases) for a particular event. Thereafter, they shall not be eligible for the subsidy.

TRAVEL ADVISORY:

At present, there are NO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS from INDIA to JAPAN for participation in exhibitions and events. However, the traveling person should be fully vaccinated.

Airfare Subsidy:

Eligible companies will be entitled to reimbursement of economy class airfare on submission of documents after the completion of the event. Only one person per company, such as the director, proprietor, partner, or regular officer of the company in a senior managerial position, will be eligible for the airfare reimbursement.

Visa:

FIEO will issue the visa recommendation letter to the participants. Only 2 persons per company with extensive travel history will be considered, with preference given to participants with valid Japanese visas.
